What You Can Expect

Day 1:

Luxor to Aswan.

At early morning, your tour guide will pick you up from your hotel in Luxor and accompany you to visit the Edfu Temple, the best preserved temple in Egypt, dates back to 237-57 BC to the Greco-Roman time.

Proceed with a drive for about 70km more to Kom Ombo Temple located on the east bank of the Nile. It is an unusual double temple dedicated to Horus the Falcon head god and Sobek the Crocodile god.

Proceed to Aswan to visit the Philae Temple built on an Island between the old Aswan dam and the Aswan high dam. The existing Temple of Isis was constructed during the Ptolemaic and Roman rulers of Egypt. After a lunch break, transfer to your accommodation & overnight.

Day 2 :

Abu Simbel trip from Aswan.

Very early in the morning, you will be accompanied by your Egyptologist tour guide, and drive for approximately 3 hours to Abu Simbel temples. Enjoy a fantastic introduction to the history and saving of the Great temple of Amon Re and the smaller temple of goddess Hathor and then enjoy free time to explore the temples.

After the tour, back to Aswan and visit the Aswan high dam, built between 1960-1970 to control the Nile floods and the electricity.

After , you will be transferred back to your hotel in Luxor.
