What you can expect

Day 1:

You will be met at Cairo airport and transfered to your hotel.
Overnight Cairo.

Day 2:

Your tour in Egypt begins with a visit to the Pyramids of Giza and the Sphinx. Your Giza tour includes a short camel ride.
You will continue on to visit The Grand Egyptian Museum where you can see the collection of King Tutankamon.

Day 3:

Breakfast at your hotel, transfer to Cairo Airport to catch your flight to Aswan. Upon arrival in Aswan meet your guide and representative and then start your day tour to visit Philae Temple by motorboat on the Nile.

You will then visit the High Dam before being transfered to Embark your Nile Cruise and have lunch.

In the afternoon, you will leave the ship and enjoy an Felucca trip on the Nile before heading back to the cruise ship for Dinner.

Day 4:

Have breakfast during the early morning sail to Kom Ombo.

From the ship you will walk to the Temple of Sobek and Haroeris.

Back on the boat, you will sail to Edfu and have lunch on board.

You will then visit Horus Temple by horse carriage before cruising to Luxor.

Day 5:

Early morning pick up from your cruise ship to the launch site on the West Bank of the Nile River to your Hot Air Balloon flight.

Your driver and Egyptologist, will pick you up and your tours will start by a visit to the burial places of the Pharaohs – the Valley of the Kings, the most famous concentration of royal tombs. This is where Howard Carter discovered the tomb of Tutankamon in 1922.

After visiting the tombs you will be transported to Hatshepsuts Temple and as a last sight, the Colossi of Memnon, the two largest ancient statues in Egypt, which date back to the era of King Amenhotep III.

Day 6:

Disembark your cruise ship and check in at Sofitel Winter Palace.

A day free to have a look at Luxor or just stay and enjoy the atmosphere at the historic hotel.

Day 7:

After breakfast, excursion to visit the magnificent temple complex of Amon-Ra at Karnak, with its vast hypostyle hall of 137 columns, followed by the imposing 28th, Dynasty Luxor Temple.
Karnak is a complex of temples build in different reigns, which beats every other pharaonic monument: it is simply one of the most beautiful ancient monuments in Egypt.

After Karnak you will be brought to Luxor Temple, which is dedicated to the Theben Triad of Amun-Ra, Mut and Khonsu. There you will see the granite statues of Ramses the Great. These ancient temples are a must-see for Luxor travelers.

Day 8:

A day free to have a look at Luxor or just stay and enjoy the atmosphere at the historic hotel.

Late afternoon, you will be picked up for your transfer to Luxor airport, for you flight back to Cairo.

You will be picked up at Cairo Airport and transferred to your hotel.

A day free to explore Cairo on your own or to enjoy time at your hotel.

Day 10:

Visit to the National Museum of Egyptian Civilisation, Citadel, Mohamed Ali Mosque and Khan El Khalili Market, the oldest market in Egypt.

Transfer to your hotel in Cairo Airport.
