What You Can Expect
Itinerary
Day 1:
Upon arrival in Cairo, be met by your driver at the airport for transfer you to your hotel.
Overnight Cairo
Day 2:
Visit The Step Pyramid at Sakkara, considered by traditional Egyptology to be the earliest large-scale cut-stone construction.
Visit Dahshour to see the newly reopened Bent and Red Pyramids.
Visit the former capital, Memphis, with the open air museum and the great statue of Ramses II.
Overnight train to Aswan
Day 3:
Arrive in Aswan for transfer to Abu Simbel to see the rock temples of Ramses II. Later, board your ship to embark on the Nile Cruise.

Day 4:
Early morning take a motor boat to the small Island of Philae. Home to a magical temple dedicated to Isis, the Great Mother. Here you can perform, if you wish, special rites honouring the Divine Feminine and invoking her energies and blessings.
Later, sail to the Temple of Kom Ombo for exploration.
Board your ship for departure to Edfu.

Day 5:
Tour the Temple of Edfu, the most well preserved temple in Egypt, dedicated to the God Horus.
Return to the cruise ship for dinner and an overnight stay while you cruise to Luxor.

Tour the West Bank, with the Colossi of Memnon, the Valley of the Kings and Temple of Hatshepsut.
Return to the cruise ship for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 7:
Explore the famed Temple of Karnak and the Temple of Luxor.
Arrive at your Luxor hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 8:
Visit the Temple of Abydos. Abydos was to the ancient Egyptian what Jerusalem is to the Christian, Muslim and Jews.
After lunch, visit the Hathor Temple of Dendara and examine the famous Zodiac ceiling and the painted carvings of Nut, Goddess of the Sky, swallowing the solar disc at night and birthing it again each morning.
Overnight train
Day 9:
Visit Old Cairo, the Old Coptic Church and the Ben Ezra Synagogue.
Return to your Cairo hotel for an overnight stay.

Early morning, visit the Great Pyramid of Khufu where you, for an additional fee, will ascend to the King’s chamber and be told of its mysteries.
Tour the Sphinx and the Valley Temple.
Return to Cairo for an overnight stay.
